I just saved your post and need to dive in. This is such amazing information. 🔥

I just found you on the substack chat from Daria Cupareanu.

Thanks again!

Did you implement TLS layer for extra security?

The MCP server runs locally on my computer so Claude or Cursor app is just making a local tools call. For Substack API calls it is using TLS encrypted calls, just like when I use Substack with my web browser.

I love the focus on momentum, Finn.

If this reliably gets people from idea → published without friction, that’s a huge win.

Happy weekend to you!

I always admire your work and persistency. I think you deploy Claude for automation. It may need different marketing. Your wide audience is not tech-aware. They may not know what Model Context Protocol is, so the name won’t appeal. They may not know what Cursor is, and fail to understand how it beats the native substack interface. Thirdly, they may shy away after reading the first paragraph, automatically associating AI with low quality content creation (rather than work pipelining). I also think many substackers are declaratively belligerent anty-AI for the reason I mentioned.

An idea - perhaps call the product Note Automation or Note Streamlining or Power Note, stripping MCP part of name. Also, why not hide cursor behind something and not even mention Claude? Ps. If you need IP rights for one of the brilliant names I just gave, they are on sale for a pint of beer payable after you get first 10 clients

You would be surprised how many creators I've talked to are using Claude AI ( or Cursor). I have nearly 40 creators using Stackcontacts that provides MCP server for asking questions about their Substack audience.

But I agree with you on the brilliant names you came up with, and a pint of beer sounds way too low price... unless we can drink it together one day 🍺

Cheers 🍻

Great infographic, Finn. Really helps me understand the bigger picture.

Thank you Nancy,

This is quite different workflow than what I've used for Notes before.
