thank you, Finn. I knew there was something else behind all of this and honestly, some of the ones that I've used based on what other publications have said I've had the worst click rates.
So I do my own thing now. I do ask about SEO optimization etc. I was speaking with someone about my titles and I said well I can't make them too long because of this and that things I have been told before and they said that is not true I mean, obviously there's common sense, but since I started changing my titles and doing it according to formulas of curiosity and the other things that some people teach, I'm getting a lot more clicks.

So informative, as always Finn! I haven't found consistency between headline scores and engagement, not to mention they're a nuisance to use. Thanks for confirming!
This has to be my favourite read of the week, Finn. I agree with Alberto’s view. I’ve been testing them for the past few years too. They were made for SEO purposes but I’m not sure how effective they are on platforms like Medium and Substack where you write for humans and not robots 🤭

Another informative article Finn. I haven't used them since I tried and wasn't overly thrilled with results.
Thank you Finn for this helpful advice.
Good insight 😌
Finn, your analysis process is amazing!! Thanks for another proven piece of advice!
Thank you Finn - I always wondered about this.
Thank you Finn for your amazing work and passion. Finally something we can ditch from our SOP's ...🙏👍👍
I’ve used them a lot for all the articles I’ve posted in other platforms and publications.
Funny enough, I’ve never used them for the content I write for myself (or under my persona).

I totally agree with these results. Those analyze may be helpful to avoid totally horrible headlines. But a high result doesn't guarantee success.
I love how you use data to prove that. I also ditched them a while ago, just saw it's now working as I wanted.
